    Some Input on *LowJack* ??

    Or something *comparable* ??

I like the idea of a unit that can be traced by the cops.
Is it like .. if I'm sleeping .. and someone *hits* my car,
do i have a seperate remote like on my keychain
that will also sound off .. or vibrate ..??
Or ... when I wake up, and discover my car gone ..THEN report it?
Can I *track* it on *my* PC?? Howz it work precisley ??

Also let me know what you folks think ..
Wudya got on *your* CB7's that you really recommend ?

    Thanks CB'rs !!!

    A Hui Hou !!

It's not untill you report it they track it down. There is a different one out there that lets you locate it from your pc but i forgot what its called. The only problem i see with Lowjack is that by the time your car is reported and located, its completely stripped.

try california...i have in my car, a club, an auto lock, my alarm with a back up siren....haha here cb7's are hot.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

USC .. Or Anyone else ...

Has anybody seen or heard about this *hub* thingy ?
You ake your steering wheel OFF .. and a *Locker* goes over
your steering column .. it like covers the hub.. it has a like
a regular *key* to lock and unlock it.

              I saw a car at my mechanic's shop ..
that my mechanic installed it on ..
he told me that, "you could take a crowbar to this thing,
and nofreakinway man .. " "most theives, if they see you don't
have a steering wheel, are so not interested any longer"

              Anyone ?

              A Hui Hou !!

well, if they're just breaking in the car to steal parts, they'd be happy that the steering wheel's not there because it gives them more room to work around.

but my thinking is if they really want your car, they'll go as far as getting a flatbed and towing it from underneath your nose.

removing the steering wheel sounds like a nice idea but i'm curious as to how much wear-n-tear the steering wheel can handle when you take it on and off, and how do you make sure you have it secured.

and besides... would you want to carry around your steering wheel when you go shopping or into the theaters?

                  LMAO !!!

                  Well .. ya !!!

I wanna *steer* myself around the mall ... and back to that
                  theater seat .. LOL !!!

No but .. good point about giving them *more room to work*
LOL .. replacing interior parts IS a whole lot LESS expensive
then replacing what the 4 tires and rims sat under ...

In as much as what kina wear and tear it could cause ..
hmmm I dunno ... but the car I saw at the shop that he made the
install on .. was a HUUUuuuge ass Cadilac .. lol .. he had like
20" rims .. and an interior that looked beter then my own
living-room .. LMAO !! Not to mention the sound system .. OY !

But I really dont think I'd keep the OEM wheel .. he's got a nice
aftermarket wheel.. that I could still retain Cruise Control with.
What started this whole conversation at the shop was..
I was looking to buy an after market wheel .. and was talking
with him about *re-locating* the Cruise Control somewhere
on the dash/instrument panel .. and one thing led to another ...
