Now IF you are looking for the most up-to-date alarm system, it would be the company Compustar. Their technology are always a step ahead of everyone else. For an example, Dei's alarm systems now have SST technology ( Further range with less interference). While Compustar had that technology a long time ago. I believe their technology now is more advance then SST, but correct me if I'm wrong.
I was about to go with Compustar for my 2 cb's awhile back but never did. It was because no one locally carried them, thus no warranty...I ended up going with a viper 791xv for my sedan 4 years ago. Currently for my coupe, I have a Clifford 50.5x.
My advice would be to go with DEI

^^ Um, dude, you should put the alarm on before you do the turbo setup, because the day you get it on, your going to open your mouth, and brag, the word will spread, and you'll wake up to an empty space where your car used to be. The one thing you have going for you is that you live in hawaii so it will be tough to get it off the island. lol
Bare min, put a flashing led somewhere, that deters the average thief, they will move on to another car without a flashing led.Last edited by cloudasc; 06-07-2009, 06:20 PM.

I install alarms professionally. We used pythons. I recommend removing dash and hiding whole unit. I mount a air horn to relay from exterior to interior to deafen theives. I have a htc 8925 ripped up with sim card that reports gps location to me via txt or browser. 14 for line and under 100 for cracked screen htc 8925. It will run off battery for a week if car battery is cut since it is a cell and I have 12v to 5v usb adapter gutted and on accessory switch for charging. When storing the car for more than week ill remove ecu disconnect starter and remove shift linkage with it stuck in gear. I might remove the steering wheel if it is going to be longer. I use a car cover every night or when I'm going to be out of the car for more than 3 hours. Most imporantly, don't leave anything in the open inside even in daylight in public. I've had 2 shattered windows over loose change on the floor and they didn't even grab my phone cigs or ipod on the pass seat, this was at best buy.
In africa it is legal to have flamethrowers on cars as security. Check it out.
