    amp to power subs this the correct one?

    okay so i have had a 4 chan infinity amp powering all my speakers and subs. I have been to cheap to get a amp for just my sub. anyways i just ordered one tonight.

    The subs I have are the Kicker CVR 12" in the kicker box. specs for one sub as follows:

    Will this power it perfect and make them hit hard? let me know this is what the guy on the phone said would work. but im not sure about the ohms of the subs, could be 2 or 4

        You can try. I've never used an amp that much bigger than I needed before. my brother runs 4 JL 12w3s off of a single alphasonik and it's not that big.

          I'm pretty sure that amp is overrated, you should be fine. You also have to wire it to 4 ohms because that amp doesn't look one ohm stable. Adjust your gains accordingly.

              Yeah, I'd bet money that amp won't generate anywhere near those power numbers. Power Acoustic isn't that great of a brand. It should be ok tho, for the time being
