    Amplifer Modding

I modded my amp/ backseat. The amp is a Crossfire CFA602 pushing an infinity reference 1252w

    Start :

I started with the amp and mounted it like so. Then I removed the metal sheet from the bottom and replaced it with a cut acrylic sheet.

Looked nice, but my rice tendency said it needed more

    After schools CNC Router:

So I drew up this at my school on the router software and cut it out.

    Painted "H" white:

The cuts and engraving actually melted the groves as you can see, so I filled it in with white paint. Also you can see my wiring for whats next.

    Blue LEDs.

I had some blue leds and just had to make it work so I cut out some areas to mount them and flipped the sheet so you cant see the melted part. Also I added a fan

    DONE!

I cant wait to see it tonight...

          Thanks guys.

The most awesome part is it costed less than $10

          $6 for the acrylic.
          $.90 for the leds.

          Everything else was free!

The wire I just got from the car and the fan from an old computer. My grandma owns a frame and mat shop so free cutting too...

I think the hardest part was cutting the metal bracing of the seat back. I went through about 15 cutoff wheels...

Night fall is in 30 min!

I love DIYs that are creativity-driven and not just wallet-driven.

              Great stuff.
