holy crap, where do people come up with this stuff? That is a sure fire way to blow subs, just like running only one side on a DVC. check this out if you need help wiring subs! http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/wo...s.asp?Q=2&I=42This means if you have dual voice coils you will get sound coming from the left and right channel, a single on the other hand will get sound from just channel. Back on topic. Since you are looking into kickers, Go demo some at your local audio shop.
I would look into the 15" Kicker L7's (affordable, make sure you buy online if you want a good deal, but if you want a warranty , then purchase locally). They bump real good. They don't have the best sq but I gurantee you that with that amp of yours, you wont be disappointed.
Make sure you get the dual voice 4 ohm so that you can wire it to 2 ohms. At 2 ohms, your amp should be putting out 1100 watts. If you get the 12" Just make sure you set the gains right, and the kicker will handle it well
