what sub for my rockfos amp?

i got a steal on this amp and i was wondering whats the best sub for it?

Total RMS Watts: 682 @ 2 ohms

I have an idea for just one 12"

Kicker L7
Alpine type X
Alpine type R

dude, i dont know where you got those numbers, but bridged, its 500RMS at 4ohms. It doesnt seem to be able to handle a 2ohm load bridged.

So at 500watts i would totally go for an alpine type R!!

my bad. it is a 2 channel amp, and the numbers are from the performance certificate. the amp is rated at 250 Watt RMS X 2 @ ohms

sound better and drops lower and deeper then the type R and sounds much much better then the L7 in SQ hands down

nice, but pricier. i admit you could drive the hell out of it with no fear of it blowing. and you are definitely leaving room for improvement in the amp department with the sub rated at 1000RMS.

a nice choice, but like i said, pricier. its literally twice the price.

A have sn oldschool JL W3 hooked up to my rockford amp and its very powerful crispy bass, highly racommend. I've had this set up for 5yrs and it still embarrasses sloppy 12s.
