    For Creativity.

I like the way those little tweeters look though. Nice little ring on em. They look better, IMO.

If you wanna get uber-creative, try putting some small tweeters or 2-inchers up in the front of the dash. Make it a true 6-speaker ride.

definetly get my kudos for the idea, but like everyone else is saying, a 1" dome will sound much better. but for a little project that cost $0,

very creative, hope sounds ok, and as long as you are happy. You should try to fabricate a speaker cover to make it look better.

Bigger has nothing to do with better, especially when it comes to highs. A speaker's size basically determines it's frequency range. I'm sure just having a taller and wider listening area from any speaker mounted closer to your ears will make it sound better. But the sound range that comes from your 2" speaker won't be the same as a tweeter. For any multi-driver channel, it would sound a lot cleaner if you install a crossover to only feed each speaker the frequencies it can reproduce.

You've got the creativity and drive to try new stuff. I like to put a lot of thought into my little projects before I start, to make sure I'm not going to regret irreversible customization. You can't UNcut a door panel...you want to be satisfied with what you got for what you put in...and you should be. Just maybe find some kind of 2" trim ring to clean up the area around the hole.

And watch your damn mouth about my door tweeters, you got nothin' on this!!!!! hahaha, lol

Its called simple green dude. That and a towel. Cleaned my tan up good. Then for the hard stuff use a magic erase pad and water. Other than that, you don't wanna hear my opinion on the speakers, lol.
