I have Python Security and Remote Start on my Dakota.
I purchased the 2008 model which uses a slightly different remote than the 2007.
I have the 2 way LED transmitter, and I love it. I adjusted the shock sensor way down, so it's not going to be easy to mess with. I also plan to get that microwave sensor (or proximity sensor, same product in mind though) later, so that when people walk up with a certain distance of it, it will give a warning. It will also still have the break in warning and full alarm.
HIGHLY recommend Python to everyone. Great security and Remote start is awesome as well. I wouldn't trust many other security's with my truck. I have more money tied up in audio equipment than my Ranger cost!!!Last edited by turbomaxx; 07-04-2008, 12:40 AM."This truck is 100% sh*ts and giggles."

its not a microwave sensor... its called a proximity sensor. it works by setting up a magnetic field around your vehicle and inside of it. once its disrupted it triggers a warn away then a full alarm.
park your car in your driveway or in your garage... also set your shock sensor way sensitive. I am always going out ot check on my car at night. If i hear any noise whatsoever, voices, a car stopped outside I go and look..
I have a viper... all DEI alarms are the same for hte most part. Stay away from bulldog and cheap brands like that.

If they didn't they wouldn't still be sold in the quantities that they are today."This truck is 100% sh*ts and giggles."

I adjusted my shock sensor super sensitive. If I have the security armed and you just brush it the warning goes off. If you like pull up on the handle, the alarm goes off. By ranger's exhaust triggers it, too.
I like it that way though."This truck is 100% sh*ts and giggles."

I dont remember if mine came with a shock sensor or not. I dont think it did.
Id like to eventually have one or something of the sorts.
I really just got it for the keyless end of things. Plus if anyone gives a window a good bang or jiggle, it'll let me know.

I'm no expert, but I'm fairly certain that if it goes off from being bumped or such that it does in fact utilize a shock sensor."This truck is 100% sh*ts and giggles."
