Yea theres a couple of clearance issues with reguards to the distrubution blocks which is why their offset. I cant get a second amp like that as it is a D class monoblock - not much good for running my full range speakers, but hopefully i will up grade the sliver Kohler (German amp) to a Sony one which will have a better colour match.
The Kohler amp is 125w x 4, and the sony is 800w x 1

i was gonna say ive never heard of Kohler but then i saw that ur in NZ and figured thats why.
and i can understand bout the clearance issues. i just didnt know if you had any reason to put them like that is why i said something bout it.
you did a good job with what you had then.
what sub(s) are u running? and what speakers? are you gonna get a capacitor for your system also? it would help alot especially with the current draw of that class D

Yea I am definatly going to get a cap, I have a problem with dimming lights even when just running the kohler. Im running 2 x 12" Sony subs, Clarion 6.5" components, and Panasonic 6x9's, also running a Sony XRC-5500 head deck, and a 6 disc CD changer.

What do you guys mean by "better equipment" are you refering to the amps, or wiring? i plan on changing the silver amp when I get some more cash, but other than that i am happy with the look / performance of my setup

we mean better equipment as in better subs and amps. ive never heard/heard of kohler, so i cant speak on them, but i have heard sony and i dont think they are good. sure they are cheap, but not reliable. the amps get real hot, and if you're overheating they wont shut off to protect it, it will just keep getting hotter until you fry it. but thats only if you're really pushin it.
for subs i would look into some kicker comp vr's or jl audio w0's or w3's. or some RE SE's..

Well actually i have owened 3 sony amps. 1 x 2channel, 1 x 4channel, and currently the monoblock installed.
I run my stereo VERY hard all the time, and the Sony overheating devices DO work fine.
I take it you dont know too much about car audio? because a D class amp generates HARDLY any heat as it puts most of its energy into sound, so my current Sony amp never cuts out.
I have been told on many occasions that my sound system is awesome, Its crystal clear at all volumes, and certainly doesnt have any lack of bass, therefore i think the Sony components are just fine.
And before you guys rate a brand, dont rate it off a shitty litte sound system that "you heard" in the back blocks, why dont you look at some competition systems, and give some due credit.
