I have a dual DVD TV radio, i just got a new car yesterday. I was installing it today and it ask me for a code. I tried 0000, 1111, and another code. Now its locked. Any way to unlock it? I was told theres a battery in it and to take it out.

If you really bought it new read the instrutions and they will tell you. Most of the time it is something like 012345 out of the box. If you entered the wrong code to many times wait for it to time out.

Disconnect the negative battery cable, or disconnect the plug in the rear of the HU to reset the radio. If it's a Honda/Acura radio, just call a dealer - they'll give you the code over the phone, with the SN of the HU.Comment
