01-2 Accord in dash 6 CD in a 93 SE coupe?

I'm guessing this a easy enough swap, but I have some questions.

The height of the factory BOSE stereo in the SE's is the same as the 01-2 Accord V6 head units ?

Would I need to run new speaker wires to the 4 speakers? The wiring harnesses obviously won't plug and play (93 SE and 01-2 Accord head unit), but once I rig up an adapter, can I reuse the Honda wiring or did BOSE do some goofy wiring scheme?

Would there be any reason to reuse the BOSE amp? I hear they fail often and really are designed for use only with BOSE components.

Basically, I'm after any advice on upgrading the stock audio system from 1993 to a newer Honda head unit and newer speakers. I would probably use aftermarket speakers, definitely not the stock BOSE ones.

Yes BOSE uses a seperate amp
Incase you dont know, its inside the right-rear passenger panel on the coupes
All 4 speakers are ran off of it, so a complete re-wire is necessary....
Get a double din Stereo Deck that plays MP3 CDs, never change a cd again

Yes the amps are crap, desired, and no longer stocked anywhere.
Sell the amp, or find a wireing diagrahm and reverse-engineer it

Buy a reverse harness for the new radio. Or cut one from the junkyard. Hook up constant, acc, and ground behind the radio. Run new speaker wires either directly to the speakers or to the factory amp itself and bypass it there. Very simple stuff..

Also, the BOSE system in the 93 SE uses a floating speaker ground (one ground for all 4 speakers), so to use an aftermarket deck, you would have to get another adapter to use the stock wiring (Crutchfield has them for about $30).

Would this be an easy swap for a standard stock honda radio out of a 91 EX
