Solid Copper
OEM Type wire
Amplifier type wire (like Monster, Scosche, Tsumani...etc)

Get the cable with the highest number of strands you can afford. More strands = higher efficiency, which translates into better grounds and more power to all the car's electrical systems. Typically, high performance audio cable like Monster Cable or similar brands will seriously outperform OEM cables. This is why grounding kits are so effective.

you can buy a capacitor wiring kit at best buy for about 15 bucks. it comes with 5ft of positive and 5ft of negative power wire. that should be plenty to do your grounds. its high quality, high strand count, extremely flexible. its made by rockford fosgate.

thats what I have on mine, go with the 4 gauge, you will be fine. unless your runng 0/1awg wire, then you need to match up the wire size to what your using.
