    need help* 2000 accord cd player..

    i am gona get a 2000 accord cd player from my friend. will it just plug in or do i have to mod it abit. would it be easier if he gives me the wires off the back of it?

      first, why are you gonna do that?

      second, all you should need is the mounting bracket for the stock cb radio.

      i dont put stock radios into other cars, i think its a waste of time. especially if you have to modify it. its better to just buy a new stereo and install that. you will be much happier with it and the options you will have.

      stock sucks.


      well unless its jdm of course lol

          i didnt mean jdm radios... i meant jdm/edm parts are cool.

          jdm radios are useless in the united states, they operate on different radio frequencies from what i remember.

          just get a new one seriously lol

            i have a JVC cd player but the oem one would look and fit better then mine cuz i can just pull it out mad ez/ it falls out. and is just as old

              sounds like you need a new dash kit if its just falling out. or someone didnt cage your deck good.

                it was a freeby from my dads friend it was missin stuff like a bracket. i have it wedged in there pretty good.

                  '98 to at least '02 use a different harness plug than the '90-'97, therefore it will not directly plug in.

                      you can buy the harness that plugs directly in tho.

                      70-1720 is the part number for the tan honda harnesses. make sure you get both sides so you can plug it back into your factory harness.
