    Best shine?

What do you guys use to bring out a nice shine on a light colored car like silver or white? The reason i'm asking is because i'm trying to get a good shine out of my corolla. It currently has nxt tech wax because thats all i have left right now. A lot of people say it has a nice shine but I think it can have a better one. Maybe it's because im use to a shine out of a black car So what do you guys recommend for a lighter colored car???

nxt is a synthetic wax that has a nice shine but synthetic waxes are really noticable on a dark colord car and not a light colored car.

what i do is get some mequiars professional #9...swirl remover, use it on the car to smoothen it, it polishes too...then use #7 to really deepen the shine then top off with #27 carnubva wax...its a pretty intense shine.

but i use a buffer to help...makes it alot easier plus u use a fraction of the product that u normally use, plus wiping off is easier.

    buffer helps alot...

im not sure at the moment but synthetic waxes take a precleaner to take off....so u might have to use either more steps of swirl remover or use a cleaner wax...

normal wax on top of synthetic doesnt mix right and may be diffucult to get off
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

Here are a couple of pics of what this stuff that's called Rod & Custom did to my paint that was going down hill. It's suppose to last a couple of years. I going to put another coat on to get better coverage.

www.zainobros.com is awesome, expensive for a daily driven car though.

yes. it's a little labor intensive, but the best shine i've found so far. i detailed cars for about 5 years.

i always like The Wax Shop products too. Especially Dark Magic, I think that's what it's called, a swirl remover that works excellent. Then followed up by The Wax Shop glaze. Usually have to look for them in the paint supply stores.

            Link to some products/tools.
