      You should have really used some polish before you waxed.

      Wax doesn't really make the detailing. It's the polishing that does. Wax really just protects. Some waxes do give you that wet paint look tho.

      If you have some deep scratches, use some rubbing compound(run your finger nail over them, if you can feel it, then you need some). If they're not that deep, then some normal polish will get the job done. If you have even finer scratches that the first polish didn't cover up, then go with some finer polish. You should be able to get everything you need at your local autozone.
