    Cleaning Wheel wells

Recently I've decided to start cleaning the accord up. Not just wash and wax though, I'm going Type G on this thing. Yesterday, I started on the wheel wells, which I knew would be pretty dirty. However, I never imagined there was that much grime down there. These pics are after a solid 20 min. of cleaning. When I started there was probably a 2cm thick layer of road grime on the wheel well. After spraying down with some Simple Green and letting it sit for a few minutes, I wiped with a cheap old shirt (I'm sure a brush would have helped in this step). I did this about procedure abut 5 times, and there is still grime down there. Word to the wise if you decide to tackle this, wear clothes you don't care about. This grime gets everywhere.

You can see, I only hit a portion of the wheel well..........................................^^ That's where I stopped

And what's left of the shirt used to scrub the well down. FYI, this was only for a quater of a single wheel well I'm gonna need some more old shirts.

Wouldnt it be easier to remove the plastic wheel well pieces, then clean them? Then while theyre off, spray them with a teflon coating.
There are no black and white suspension answers!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, too bad no one near me has one. That would be a life saver

Thought about that too, but I don't really feel like taking the plastic pieces out just to clean. I might jack the car up and take off the wheels when I do it again to get better access. The teflon would be awsome too bad I'm cheap I'm just going to use some sort of dressing on them, like this

Take off the wheel and cover up the suspension and fender then lay on a nice coat of undercoating. Makes it look real nice and is easy to keep nice by just spraying off each time you wash the car so dirt doesn't buildup.
