    What's the best rim cleaner?

Ive got black wheels, and a polished lip. I got some stuff for the lip, but from the brakedust, it gets dirty in a day.

what a good spray on cleaner that works well. and that you can spray off with water.

Let me know.. Im sick of cleaning the rims :-/

and what get's off tar thats stuck to the polished lip?

Reviving this thread from the deads. I can't believe there was only one reply. Must be because of Maple.
Anyway, anybody else have suggestions? I'm also tired of cleaning this damn wheels.

the best cleaner is a little elbow grease and a soap/water solution.
i'd use this if i had to:

          avoid bleach based cleaners
          avoid cleaners with acid
          avoid cleaners with lyes

and of couse occasional polish and wax is the key to keeping them looking new. it also, helps to know the finish of your wheels, clearcoated, polished aluminum, cast, painted, powdercoated, chrome, ect. later.

                Thanks Y'all for Ur answers.
TypeG, my wheels are black with a polish lip. The water/soap solution leaves water spot on the wheels.
