    Tips for Detailing engine bay

~Some degreaser's can tarnish and ruin polished silver metal, like an Intake or Strutbar. Use metal polish on those, no degreaser!

~It is ok to put a bag or plastic bag over the intake when cleaning, but do not start the car or the Intake will implode, and thats not good.

~SimpleGreen works well on engine grease.

~Use fine grain sandpaper if you want to polish the "H" badge on the valve cover and other lettering, it makes it sparkle along with a metal polish.

lol @ tip #2. my friend, the only way an intake would inplode, is if it were made from a wet macaroni. i have been driving with no hood and it began to rain suddenly. i pulled over and shoved a plastic bag over my intake filter and drove 8 miles home. no implosions. later.

It wasn't on my car, it was on a civic, and a civic sucks a LOT more air than the accord's F22. If that makes any diffference?, lol
