painting the rubber molding or siding strips

What is a good paint to use if one would want to do this?

The siding on my wifes wagon is faded and Mother's back to black doesn't have any effect on it. It's as if the siding just soaks it up.

So I might try and paint them, but whats a good product to use?

Thanks in advance, and I did search the archives for 5 minutes.

Use lacquer thinner and a clean rag to remove the build up on the molding then use back to black.

clean the rubber well, and then use an adhesion promoter, prime; then you can lay any paint you want. If youre just doing black, clean well and that back to black

Don't paint! Within 15 min you can lacquer thinner the trim and they will look like new again. I'll post pictures tomorrow.
