How to repel dust on car?

Everytime I clean my car, weather it's at home or at the wash I always get a layer of dust on it all the time. Paint, windows, trim, wheels, everything.
I don't live in a dusty environment at all and I don't drive on dusty roads at ALL.

So my question is, there anything I can do to help prevent dust on my CB7 (paint, trim, windows, everything)?

And if not what should I use to wipe it off?
I have been using microfiber cloths but I feel like I need to liquid on it to help loosen the particles of the dust on the paint so the paint doesn't scratch. Like a spray wax detailer or something, does this make sense lol?

How often do you wax or polish the car? Having a wax coating on the car should help prevent dust from settling.

You can use those "California Dusters", you can pick them up at Canadian Tire. What I've heard is the first few times you use them, they aren't that great. After a few uses, they're probably the best thing ever.

I feel your concern with the microfibre cloths. I don't like to use them to wipe dust off either. Best bet might be a light terry cloth or waffle weave cloth to wipe the car down gently.

IMO white is the easiest color to keep clean and it shows all of the body lines.

I always use liquid/spray wax on the car every single wash.
Actual paste wax? Never. I have used though a liquid/paste hybrid in those Mother's red bottles wax last year. Same with polish.

But still I don't think it's a paint issue because it's on my trim, wheels, tires, windows, etc. I have seen those Cali dusters, but they seem so fucking big lol. I need something I can carry with me all the time. Plus I'd want something that somewhat lasts you know?

And Arcadia Green isn't that dark lol, it's a lighter green IMO.
But yeah white is easy to clean.

I second the part about having a good quality wax on the car. Waxing does an excellent job of shining the paint as well as protecting its quality and finish.
