We all know tree sap is probably the absolute worst thing to remove from your car.
Here's a trick I learned, and an easy way to clean the sap off your car without damaging your paint.
1. Get a hair dryer or a heat gun. Heat up the sap spot you wish you remove.
2. Drop some hand sanitizer on it.
3. Use a microfibre cloth and gently rub in a circular motion (as not to scratch the paint) and the sap spot will magically disappear.
This works for sap that has been sitting on the paint from minutes to years.
A great trick I learned from youtube, and I put it to the test on my own car and it worked wonders. I now use this trick on cars at work, and it cleaned up a black 2008 Cadillac DTS just beautifully.
