If you want a buffer, get a Porter Cable PC7424 and a good setup of polishing pads.

Honestly, for what you've got Megs M105 and soemthing like a Lake County Blue/White pad.

I strongly recommend www.autopia.org to read up.

I've been playing around with Menzerna products, but I really would like to test out the M105/M205 products and some new pads for my car.

But again, that buffer will do nothing good for your car.
I don't necessarily agree about the buffer. I use a high speed rotary on large sections with different pads but I also have one of those exactly like originally posted, and it's great for small areas, and not only does an excellent job, it is WAY easier to use and is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to damage your paint. It's a low rpm, random orbital. You could literally hold it in the same place for a minute and not worry about burning through. How could this "destroy" your paint, let alone "not do anything good"? It polishes well enough.

But yes, the one you got after is a better option.
