    Vinyl/Rubber cleaning (Interior)

Hey guys, I've read on this site that ArmorAll spray actually damages the vinyl because it only cleans but does not condition, so it ends up drying and cracking up the vinyl. If this is true, what would your recommendation for a vinyl cleaning product be?

These are the products that are available to me:

    http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows....jsp?locale=en

    http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows....jsp?locale=en

Which is the best out of these three products? Thanks for your time!

Honestly..baby wipes. You should see all the crap they pull off the steering wheel that a towel and armor all doesnt get and the driver arm rest. Im usually dirty and oily and they get the crud out of the vinyl texture

      Baby wipes? ehh...I don't know.
Back to my original question, has anybody had any experience with any of the products I listed above? I've read on the site that some people prefer Meguiars, but I'm not sure which product they used.

I have used Mother's in the past, but Meguiar's makes fantastic, if not superior products. Both should be suitable for interior cleaning.

I used Armor-All for 18 years on my Accord (bought it new), and the dash never cracked. That said, it causes the dashboard/plastics to dry out terribly if you stop using it. It is complete trash.

I ended up buying Meguiar's Ultimate Protectant, it's really good stuff! Worked well on all the vinyl around the car, I did the steering wheel as well and it didn't leave it all slippery and slimy. It made it shiny and smooth but still the same texture. Thanks for your help guys

you'd want to get a good water based protectant. i.e meqiure's or mother's comes to mind, as they are easily obtainable and affordable.

the reason armorall can crack rubber and vinyl is because of the silicone's in it. it's not that silicone's are a bad thing, but it is the type of silicone that matters. there's are thousands of different types of silicone's ranging from good to bad.

some are considered bodyshop safe, while others are not. later.
