    Type G. Need ya help

Polished my headlights with mothers mag and aluminum, then, plastic polish.

Drivers side headlight came out very good, but passenger, with the aluminum and mag, seems like I hit a soft spot, and haven't had any luck getting it out.

Tried some 1000grit , wasn't taking it off, should I try some more abrasive, or something else or are they screwed?

i would try buffing it with a drill and powerball type attachment.

was not there before you started? can't say i've seen a headlight do that before. later.

Nope, almost looks like it melted or something.

I used a angle buffer, high speed, with the fluffy pad, can't remember the name right now.

probably did melt then. i'd see about sanding it out with 1000g, then 2000 followed by polish. later.
