    Rim cleaning

I just cleaned my rims and I have found the best rim cleaner ever. Purple Power. I have white rims and for anyone that does you know it can be a pain to get them clean. All you have to do is spray it on, let it sit for about 10 mins. Take a rag and wipe clean, then rinse. Wow not to many posts in this section, what every roll in a dirty CB Jk

Is Purple power the brand? I've used Doctor Mechanico is a all purpose degreaser that can be used on paint and it works wonder on white wheels.

Clean rite is the brand. Purple Power is a cleaner/degreaser but it works really good. Better than engine brite.

you should consider putting cleaner wax on those white rims on a regular basis. then you won't need anything but soap and water to clean them. later.

I'll try that, if I sprayed them with silicone would that work?

silicone tends to attract dust. i'd imagine if you went down a gravel road, your wheel would look like a powdered doughnut. later.

Try to switch to ceramic pads if you don't have them already when you change them.

                        Helps a ton.
