    Cleaning up my paint

My 90 accord's paint has definitely seen better days. The front half of the cars paint looks quite well with the exception of some scratches. What would you recommend for theses minor scratch removals?? Also, the paint is noticeably duller on the rear panel were the quarters have been redone, what can i do to restore the shine around my quarters. Looks kinda like there's no or very little clearcoat.

for the cratches use mothers buffing/rubbing compound, as for the shine Nufinish, unless the clearcoat is totally gone,it will brighten it up alot though.

i'd recomend you first use a clay bar, then a paint cleaner, then polish (applied with an orbital), then a sealer and glaze, and finally a wax to protect all that work.

drag your nail across the scratches. if the scratch catches your nail, then most likely it can't be buffed out. later.
