ne1 here use these bulbs?? ne reviews as to light output, longevity?? I just bought a pair for a DRL set-up and was curios about the bulb. I wanted to do a yellow drl setup.

i have never tested them, dont forget they are high wattage.. so you will want to upgrade your wiring before just slapping them in..

i was thinking of make a custom wiring harness, similar to yours.. But im not sure what kind of wire I should use, 14gauge or 16gauge.. what did u use....

just got the light bulbs today, they dont look as yellow as i thought they would(the bulbs i haven't put them on yet)

my harness is actually 12 guage.. heres a picture of my harness.

MTEC bulbs have an ion coating on them which is like a yellow blueish color its kinda weird.. they will be yellow.. and bright at 100watts

what is the gauge for the battery wire?? also where can i get a 9005 socket to hook up to the bulbs???

i just put them on to see how they look, and there not as yellow as i was hoping 4..

The Entire harness is 12 guage wiring.. just take a regular halogen bulb. break off the bulb. solder the wires to the metal pieces inside of the bulb that connect to the pos neg. if you dont have any wiring experience i suggest you contact the guy who made mine.. he does amazing work.

i finished my harness today.. it looks pretty good, the only bad thing is, that i might have made it to long.. Other than that it looks really good!! im going to take some pics of before I tape it up..

what do u recomend i do to pass the harness over to the driver side bulb. Do i pass it threw the front of the radiator, behind the radiator, over the top of the radiator.. what do u think i should do???

my harness i actually ran it around the rear of the engine bay and around to the front.. its not long enuf to reach the halogens that way. but the ballast wire extends about 6 inches to meet it.. so its perfect.. just try to avoid any water =)

thats very cool, i would of never thought of that, my wires are extremly long so i don't think it'll be a problem...

No problem man! glad to help anyone out... Id spend all day helping somone do somthing correct.. much better than trying to help correct somthng that went horribly wrong.
