I'd say it's possible with a hacksaw but you have to make extra sure that it's sealed all the way around.

I admire your project and it is indeed possible. I brought back a pair of 92-93 Foglamps that I found at a junkyard that came from an accord with a front end collision. The lens were perfect however the back housings were cracked and some pieces were gone. I made a mold of my back pieces with fiberglass/clay and it looked brand new and was leak proof. I have pictures somewhere on the msg board but yeah....

It's also funny you bring this up coz I recently found some One pieces at the junkyard that are in more worse condition than what you shown. The lens are definately broke but I'm going to repair the backhousings for a different project. I'll let you know my progress in this thread when I start

                thats my remaining headlight =)

anyways dude i think its pretty easy....id just learn how to use bondo and then bondo that area up with fiberglass and then caulk the rest. sine you are doing a retro

or since urs is banged up, and mine isnt take off a 2x4'' area off of urs that mine is damaged on, and then take a 2x4'' area off of mine and then kinda join it together. little bit of sanding and glue should work.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

                Retro!

just make sure it doesnt leak and i dont see how you can go wrong with doing this.

                  good luck man.

what i would do is say, screw trying to piece the old ones together and go ahead and slice off the bulb mount from the donor, and just build new material around the bulb mount. This way you dont have to worry about every piece fitting snug.
