Hey ya'll, just had a thought as I opened my trunk one morning and stared at my depressingly dirty license plate lamps. I had a thought about cleaning them and thought I'd share it real quick with ya'll, in case anyone is annoyed by it like me...course im kinda nitpicky.
First, remove the lamps by taking the two screws and disconnecting the wire connector. Then take the lens and black rubber seal off, they remove by gently pulling. Carefully remove the rubber seal (mine wanted to tear pretty easily CAREFUL), then wash these in warm water. If you want to be really thorough remove the reflector, the bulb and wash the surround and reflector. Then make sure everything is really dry and put it all back together and reinstall. Below are the before and after pic its a big difference. JUst a quick though!
