    RetroFit? Adjustable? Possible?

Ive searched my brains out for this one. This one is directed at anyone whos done a retrofit. Can I make mine adjustable... im planning on trading to a better cb7 without a recontructred title and less rust/damage at some point and I want to be able to move my retro fit over when I do. Right now my front end is far from stright. So i know a good cb7 the headlights wont be aimed the same when I move over. So my question is can I make mine adjustable. I live in Alaska and I dont want to end up with unajustable headlights if I can get away with it. Welding is a posiblity if i need it more sturdy... who sells JB weld by the way, I couldnt find any at walmart?

    anyway

So far it seems like most retrofit tsx projectors are mounted like this.

This is pretty much non adjustable once you have put the plastic back on.

Could this a viable method for making them adjustable?

I know the nuts around the projector on both sides would need to be doubled up and cinched down on each other and very very close to the projector to avoid vibration. This would let it be adjustable from the back of the housing with a small ratchet or screwdriver. Maybe a bolt JB welded to both sides of the housing for even more strenght at that point, sence it (x4) would be holding the projector in place

Would this work to make them adjustable? Can anyone give me a better Idea? Any help would be great..

Why not use the headlight's vertical and horizontal adjustments?

screws work wonders. Yes you can use the headlight adjustment as mentioned. But whenever you do retrofit you align it anyway first.

I didn't test fit the headlights, and mine came out fine. The only issue you have to worry about before sealing up the headlight is the horizontal adjustment. Vertical can be fixed by moving the whole housing.

JB weld is pretty permanent stuff man. Once its on there it will be damn near impossible to get off. But you can get it at any autoparts store.

Once the projectors are IN the housing "sealed" i dont want to remove the cover everytime it gets out of adjustment.

IM using egay projectors for the housing... what headlight adjustment do you mean? Is there some on the back of the projectors?

All done, ill post some pics in another thread. No way to do this unless its loose in the housing and thats a no go.. I dont want to fatigue my eyes for some adjustablility,

I did have some issues with the aim after I cooked them back together but It was ajustable enuf with the mounting bolts that it fixed it... They look so good.
