Brake light went out. No big problem, threw in another bulb (1157). Problem is the brake light doesnt work when i dont have my lights on, and if they are on, it looks like i'm riding the brakes. Good thing its only one of them. Anyway, how can i fix this?

something sounds weird with the wiring of the brake lights if you ask me....i'd look at the wires to the one that works then compare them to the one that messed upI don't lie, I bullshit -
its not a wiring issue.
i guarantee, you replaced the bulb with a single filament 1157.
go to local auto store, get a dual filament 1157 and you'll be set.'93 Bordeaux Red Pearl LX 5MT
