yes. 93accord EX did that.. waste if you ask me. since you should be getting new headlamps before u put hid in.. who wants dusty old headlamps with hid? ul look like a fool.. but they are semi cool if u want old lamps yeah -
I've heard alot of people wondering if the projector retro could be done with the JDMs', and I thought they would be a badd-ass set of headlights, but everytime I look at them I like them less and less. To tell you the truth the projector retros look better on the USDM heads.

by far better on USDM, the retro on JDM looks like the JDM style ones on ebay IMO.. i think that its a waste of extra money.. now, i know 93accordEX did it. his looks good on his car.. plus his seemed to be a good retro.. now besides that i wouldnt reccomend it.. because u can crack the lense easily when taking it apart.. it doesnt look OEM like the usdm's do.. thats just my 2 cents..Comment

There's a company that you send your headlights to them and they'll retrofit a Audi or BMW projector into your headlight assembly and then throw a HID in. They align them perfectly so you get the best results in the end.
I'm just putting HID's back into my JDM's. Had to sell my first kit to pay off something for the car.

Yes you are correct, there are infact 2 companies that i know that do retrofits.. Illusion-lighting and HIDTech.. now i wouldnt go out and send your stuff into hid tech.. ive heard bad things and seen really BAD BAD BAD! retros.. infact i know that somone is filing a lawsuit against them for bad worksmanship. i mean if you saw the pics, youd be in awe at what you saw.. i was revolted.. i could do a better job with a blind fold.Originally posted by rebels
