    Bumper to Fog Light Convertion

Hi Guys your DIY thread about bumper light to fog convertion gives me the idea

but instead having some wiring tricks I just add an
    Pigtail H3 Halogen bulb

Has anyone done this? I wonder if its gonna melt the housing if I let in run too long??

    so far the result
    I like it!!!! soo brightttt

but I need input from the expert

oh man thats going to melt. haha looks good though
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

    Retro!

I've used it for driving 2 days now
not a single burn mark YAY!!

the shines is like a 2001 toyota avalon Deer lamp (thats what they called it when I was in jersey) to see deers , it shines to the sides.

I am gonna make it my day light running light now to see if its going to melt or not

haha I turn it on for like 2 hours straight
some part of reflector inside is burnt haha

and I notice a melting on the housing too

I wonder what other bulb that is less hot out there?
and easy to mount and wire

H3 55 watt is obviously too hot for the bumper light
