Color Mod Projectors???

Color modding is achieved by varying the distance between the projector lens and the light source. Typically, the washer mod uses washers to increase space and/or create an angle as as to produce a colorful cutoff. By doing so, you lose the sharp line but gain more color. You could also go ahead and modify the cutoff shield.
...adjust accordingly

you just have to experiment with the typical projectors you're working with. ideally, you'll want to increase the color to stretch as far across the cutoff band as possible while sharpening it a bit as well. There's a 'sweet spot' for every porjector, and no two projectors (even if from the same model car) are alike (lense inconsistencies, reflector bowl plating quality)Last edited by fliplyricist1; 11-11-2006, 02:19 AM.
