Well I didn't use the factory harness for mine, I made my own harness.

But I'll enlighten you as to how I wired them so if you decide to you can.

You need a 5 prong relay.

    Pin 85 - Ground
Pin 86 - OEM Fog switch
Pin 30 - Switched igntion, Fused 15amp (Important, I'll explain later)
Pin 87 - To the fog lights

Now you don't have to do any tweaking of the OEM fog switch BUT the way Honda ships the fog kit the switches illumination is lit at it's brightest always it doesn't dim with the dimmer switch. You can correct this.

There are five wires on the switch, Two Red/Black, Two Black, one Yellow/Red.

The two blacks go to ground (duhhh), The two Red/Blacks are supply, one give juice to the switch, the other illuminates the switches illumination. Now after you connect the blacks to ground just tap either red/black to positive untill you see the switches back lighting turn on. That wire is the illumination wire for the switch. Tie that wire into the Red/Black wire of the defrost switch. That way the brightness of the switch is adustable with the dimmer switch.

The other Red/Black goes to the male prong in the drivers kick fuse panel just like the OEM fog kit. The last wire the Yellow/Red goes to Pin 86 of the relay like I stated above.

Now the reason you connect Pin 30 of the relay to Switched ignition instead of constant is for one very good reason. Most car alarms flash the parking lights when the alarm goes off. If you connect pin 30 to constant, leave the switch on, and your alarm goes off it will also flash the fog lights and that will kill your battery quick. By connecting Pin 30 to switched ignition you can leave the switch on and everytime you are driving around with just your parking lights on the fogs will be one to, but wit hthe ignition off they won't light up.

    Smart huh.

I had the same question about this...my only question about your write up...you said that you didn't use the factory harness...but the wires you mentioned...are those the factory wires? Also...it seems like this means that you won't be able to turn the fogs on and off via the switch, it'll only turn on when you use the headlight/parking light switch?

You didn't read closely enough. I didn't use the factory harness, I made my own. However my OEM fog light switch had a pigtail and the colors are the OEM colors on that pigtail.

Just read it again, eventually you'll see the light. I'm pretty sure jdm91cb understood it.

Okay, I wasn't sure...I knew the wiring wasn't OEM, but I thought your switch wires weren't OEM either...

SO will this write up allow me to run my fogs with my headlights off?

I want to be able to run the corners with the fogs on?

Also, you wouldnt happen to know how to get the bumpers to turn on with just the corners?
