yellow bulbs.. what do you think....

well dont even know if i should post this since the camera used is such low quality. but i wanted to show the lightoutput of my new bulbs.

i ordered some yellow bulbs from http://www.racinglab.com/ and i was very impressed with what i got for my moneys worth.
the high beams are h1 Nokya Hyper Yellow bulbs and the fogs are Nokya Hyper Yellow h3s.

i also picked up some Polarg M20 hyber ambers.. and at night they look just like amber corners!!!!! (untill i blew a fuse doing my own wiring for something else)

    enough chitter chatter.. PICTURES!

    lows only (25ft away)

lows with fogs (25 feet away)

lows and highs * i have OEM fog wiring so fogs are disabled with high beams* (25 ft away)

and imprompteu shoot while on my way to the store

    lows only (15 ft away)

lows with fogs (15 ft away)

lows with highs (15 ft away)

i have JDM 92-93 two piece headlamps with raybrigs in the h4 spot (hey they came with the headlights!!! so im not sure what else about them...)

that RHD glare is pretty bad but once i finish wiring up my insight DRL and also painting the high reflector yellow with blackhousing i will aim them better.. *havent been flashed yet!!*

    but comments are welcome.

heres a couple shots of the headlamps themselves

Yeah i think yellows make great high beams. The work really good in the rain at night when you are on back roads and can drive for miles with out seeing cars. They light up everything really well and look pretty cool too.

Yeah it is, unfortunately they suck lol. I think they stopeed making them because of how they're being made, but they are going to make them a different way, and should be on sale again soon, ask just in case.

Plus, I know some Scion tC owners who have had problems with their harnesses burning up with the Luminics Super white and UV lights, but not with the Yellow bulbs.

I'm running Luminics JDM yellow H1's and I have them on most of the time while the car is on, no problems yet. Housing gets slightly hot, but thats it, no signs of melting.

Here's Luminics bulbs at a great price:

The yellows run normal 55W. Just the others run more...dunno why though. I'm buying Luminics yellows for my fogs.

Looks like my car, which means, I likes. I likes a lot. lol. It looks good, I've got some tint over the high beam now, so I can leave them on all the time @ night. Looks really slick, and attracts zer0 attention.
