    Light swap how-to

After an hour of tinkering we've got it. The little circle thing that adjusts around the light is obviously very hard to work with. So, what you need is a screwdriver...flat head, and a hammer. What you do is pop the tab out and disconnect the hook up. Then insert the screwdriver into the little area inside the rund thing. Tap on the top of the screwdriver untill it moves the circle thing. Line it up untill the light will pop out. Replace. Do same steps backwards.

yeah i explained that to him i believe.. you need to twist that black Ring to the left, its going to be hard especially if those are the original lamps from when it was made. if theyre new oem lamps its cake.

DONT USE THE HAMMER TO PUT THE BULB BACK IN!!!!!! OR ELSE YOUR GONNA BE DOING THE SAME THING NEXT TIME!!!!!

hand tighten the ring and then youll have to do less next time

Yes- this is digging up a thread from the DEEP past- and if we would all search first and ask questions later- it might be a better world- but whatever...

Anyhoo- BIG thanks to the guys in this thread for the descriptions and the pics. My low beam fried this morning 1 mile into a 50 mile commute(in the dark).

Did the big search here and found this. Coulda got Cool Blues for $30 at Aotozone, or got Silverstars for $36 minus $2- minus a $5 buck rebate. Got the Silverstars, and we'll see tommorrow morn(literally).

                        Thanks Again
