Haha thanks! It turned out to take a lot longer than I expected! But nobody can even see me bumper light, it was way to dark. The kid who had it before me just spray painted it. I think it looks better anyway now
haha alright cool. and i think im going to a little later today. I feel pretty stupid because one of the lenses on my drivers side corner came off, but i glued it back on before i even though about blackhousing it. but if i get it done today ill make sure to post pics!
I think i would have left the chrome bit behind the orange reflector unpainted as well as what you spared, for more light. Still, very clean work. Helps the dark look flow from the headlights and keeps the part looking OEM.
good job man, i had to find corner lights from the junk yard that had been soaking in the sun to be able to open them up withought cracking!
i also painted my housing all the way black, but still give good light. a 194 in that small of a housing doesnt make too much of a difference.
now do the bumper lights
haha thanks everybody!!! It sucks though, my drivers side lens actually fell off on my drive home a few minutes ago.:/ I guess i didn't use enough silicon. I'm gonna go to the junkyard tomorrow and get a new lens though. Hopefully i can get it off without it cracking!! If you guys wanna try this, i just used a hair dryer and heated up one area, then wiggled one of those mini screw drivers into the side of the lens. I repeated this until i got it all the way around. Also, i didn't even think about the bumper lights!!! I might have to do that when it warms up a little bit. i'll also take night shots later this week when i get my hid's (yes i know i don't have projectors)
yah i did my bumper lights theres pics on my MRT and on F20A's blackhouse tread. thinking about it though, 90 91 bumper lights might look better smoked since its a clear sense. just dont use flat balck like the last guy
