My car had an aftermarket alarm system installed at one point, but I ripped out as much of it as I could. I don't know if that may have something to do with it.

However, when I pull that fuse out, I still have power to everything, but when I turn the key to start the car, it just makes one click like a dead battery and nothing happens.

The parking brake light is lit up on the dash now with the parking brake wire grounded to the body, but the DRL system is deactivated.

You can fix that by cutting the grn/wht at the drl module, ground the module side of the wire. Then at the drl module, cut the grn/red wire and connect harness side to the grn/wht harness side.

The park brake loops through the drl module, so connecting the grn/wht to the grn/red lets the park brake bypass drl module nd function like normal.

That's so weird, I literally just removed the fuse labelled 'Day Light' also from my kick panel but my car works perfectly. Maybe the previous owner installed that second relay I found so the car would work? Been driving it since yesterday without any issues.

Also a side note, my 90 doesn't have a DRL light on the dash, so no worries there either.

I'm just glad that things are working, I'd be very unhappy having to mess around with the wiring again.

So this isnt a "where to buy that" post, but kinda.

Can you use one of these relays and wire it into the usdm loom? I want drl's and would really like to get my hands on the relay and possible harness.

            Ideas?

Nobody that I know of yet has retrofitted CDM DRLs into a US car.

You're more than welcome to take one of my relays if I can figure out A) why it's in my car and B) I can get it out of my car.
