Yes the full priced ones from the link you posted will already be tuned. These will allow for the stock high beam harness to work with the bi-xenon.

I think I would need the second one since I want to keep my high beam on with headlights like I do now. (led 9005) idk I can figure that out later. Thanks a lot man I'll have to call in the morning theyre closed right now

Running 35w 4500k DDM kit in USDM blackhoused headlights right now. Awaiting projector retrofit.
6000's in my SE. They glared real bad and too blue. Crap visibility.

Why not just use high-quality halogen bulbs, such as Silverstar's, until you're ready to retrofit? It's cheaper than a full PnP HID kit and you won't be ''that guy'' shooting glare into everyone's eyes.
Buying the kit now would be a waste, IMO, since the morimoto mini's won't accept 9006 type blubs. They're either H1 or D2S....so unless you like wasting money, just be patient and do a retrofit when you have the right supplies.

I had no idea Silverstar bulbs cost so damn much these days! The most i've seen them for was $35 when i got some for my bronco years back...and they lasted forever till i sold the beast. If not Silverstars then at least a cheaper brand, higher wattage bulb would provide more usable light and less glare than a PnP HID kit.
Are you sure the mazda3's projectors were for HIDs and not halogens? Im not sure if OEM HID projectors would use 9006 style lamps since both philips and GE had the OEM HID market by the balls with their D2S lamps that kick-ass. I could be wrong...the technology was newer back then and may not have been taken over by the big players.
You're right about the DDM kit being economical since the bulb swap is possible with the same ballast...but then you get to be "that guy" until your projectors arrive.
Either way, i think patience is a virtue. Get all the proper parts first, before going HID.

I'd rather spend money on light now and be "that guy", rather than spend $70 for bulbs I might use for a month a never use again.
Regular Silverstar bulbs up here sell for about $50, and the Ultras are about $70.
Regarding the Mazda 3 projectors, I had a 2005 GT with halogen projectors, but I put 9006 6000k HIDs in them.
I don't think it was til 2006 or 2007 the Mazda 3 for factory HID bulbs which I think are Philips.
However, in my defense, as I stated, I do not do very much night driving, and I'm not one of those jerks that drives around all day with my HIDs on.

I've had silver stars before and they weren't that much better. I have 9005 in my low beam and its about the same.
I'm going to order some projectors tomorrow probably just got back home from vacation. I'm going to get the ones suggested to me on page 1 of this thread if anyone has any opinions on an hid kit that would pair nicely.

i have LEDs in my highbeam and always keep them on. how would i keep this and get the Bi xenon to work
it looks like they only have H7 to 9006 pigtails. i think i will need to make some that will connect to the 9006 male then a 9006 female and 9005 female on the other end.

I would run a sturdy 35w ballast, such as morimoto or matsushita (OEM), with the mori H1 bulbs. Personally, i'd go with the D2S projectors so you can use the Philips or Osram D2S bulbs, which are the best in the world right now. H1 bulbs just don't have the Lumens that those two brands of D2S bulbs put out.
As for the bi-xenon solenoid leads, all you need is a pair of 9005 high-beam splitters. I have the morimoto D2S projectors running philips D2S bulbs with full bi-xenon functionality and my H1 high-beams as well.
TRS has made it super simple. Once the projectors are mounted, it's all plug'n'play after that.

What that means is that the projector will have the use of two beam patterns, high and low, through the use of a 'cut-off' shield controlled by a solenoid. When the shield is up, you have low beam. I'll take a few pics of my set up tomorrow for ya and walk you through it if you like. It's really quite simple...
The splitters i have have three ends. You use the one male 9005 end that receives input signal from the high-beam switch and routes power to the shield solenoid AND the OEM high-beams with the other two female 9005 ends.
The splitters essentially turn the one 9005 connector you have on your OEM harness, into two 9005 connectors (2 for each side, 4 total).

You can get authentic Philips 85122 bulbs for $64 a pair from hidbulbzrus on eBay. They're a very reputable seller with extremely good rep and customer service.
Anyways, here is the splitter setup i have...
The splitter itself..
Here are the red/black (+/-) leads for the solenoid. The solenoid leads are both loose wires with single prongs on the ends when you get the projectors, but the kit comes with the black connector part that you run the leads into.
Original 9005 connector on the wiring harness (blue) and the 9005 connector for the high-beam (black)..
Splitter plugged into high-beam harness..now we have two 9005 plugs to work with...
Here is everything plugged in...9005 harness plug providing power to the solenoid leads and my high-beams. Once i flick the high-beam switch on in the car, the shield drops and the high-beams come on as well.
Then everything gets tucked away.
