90/91 oem foglight ground wire mounting tap on the foglight

for those who are familiar with oem 9091 foglights, i picked up a set that needs restoring and the metal tab inside where you mount the ground wire to was broken off. My question is that how would i go about to ground it out if that tab is broken off?

If a picture is needed i will provide one

find a g1 acura TL at the junkyard. they have the same cap in their "fogs"/highbeams/ lights closest to the grill which can be removed by 2 screws. our caps on the accord are pressed in.

remove your broken piece from your fogs with a flathead + hammer or a slide hammer ( if you have one that would be even better ). either way they pull out and the new ones go in the same way the old ones came out =P

Here is a picture of what i am talking about. It is circled in red, That small tab where you connect the ground wire to. That piece is broken off.

What hes saying is that the piece you're talking about can be removed. Its just a bitch to remove ( i've never removed one )

wouldnt running fresh wires and using the same rubber cap the fogs come with be easier...? thats what I did. and did you get tthem fix
