92-93 Headlight with 90-91 Grill, Is it possible?

92-93 Headlight with 90-91 Grill, Is it possible?

Ok im getting some 92-93 headlights, and I have a 90-91 grill. My question is:

I really like my 90-91 grill because it looks like a G-Square, how can i make it work?

What do i gotta do to make it work?

Anyone have any pics of them together?

^^^i have the smae layout 92 headlight with 90-91 grille it deosnt sit flush in fact i had to use less screws from the assembly for it it to fit neat i prefer the 90-91 grill thou it so much more solid and had srtonger srtucker compare to a 92 jus simple 1 piece made outta all plastic , besides with the 90 grille the honda logo is more dominant and if u need to u can customize the grille

Reasoning behind my madness is i got into an accident and my grille was f'ed. I was unaware of the differences before i picked it up at the jy. Like "real mccoy" said it will fit but not flush and it may push back one of the headlights. My right headlight "shakes when idling" after the accident with the 92-93 grille because of the broken housing. However with the 90-91 grille the light does not shake anymore.

But i just FINALLY found a 92-93 housing fully intact so im gonna have an extra grille to mess around with, after i finish the install.

There you go hope that helps. I am going to revert back to the 92-93 grille. I picked up one off a wagon in the yards so i hope it fits

nice the grill looks good all black too imo , but do what suites you bredgrin. how many screws you used in the grill

I believe i used four. i can check after i get out of work or maybe on lunch break. If im not mistaken there is four on the top and one more next to the hood latch behind the emblem.

but damn snooze i forgot your car is a 9091 i would have traded you my 92/93 grill for yours because my grill looks ridiculous the jdm one piece lights make it stick out -_______-
