maplight question.

i have a maplight from a legend. it has the dome and map lights. so its got four wires. however no matter which way i try to wire it the lights turn off when the door closes.

the wire colors are black/silver dots
white/black line
white/blue line
blue/white line.

now im thinking ill make black to ground and white black to the dome light ground and the other two to the dome light positive.

does that sound right?

nvm i figured it out and ill post pic's up and also put em on the diy page to help others out. i made the hole to big so it doesnt stay fit.
