HID Ballist

What causes the HID ballist to blow?

Extreme temps?

Moisture?

Vibrations?

I dunno but I think my driver ballist got wet from PS fluid and it went.

hmmmm i just know about the bulbs if they get oil from hands on them the go out but was the ballist smoking ???

not sure if it was smoking i just noticed that it didn't come on any more.
