anybody done this retrofit??? i have a hundred of these projectors in my room from getting them so cheap at junkyards, are they made for hids???, how the light output, i dont have money to throw at tsx and s2k projectors...

1988 i put a hid in one of them and it shined bad ass

I did an E46 retro fit awhile ago and the outcome was badass

We got the worst halogen headlights in our cars.

I got E46 projectors in my car and they are great, they are at least 3 times brighter, wider and whiter than halogen lights and are about the same than TSX projectors.

You will be happy with them.

do it up man, if you got e46 laying around do it up, its worth it. You'll have way better output then your stock halogen.

I'm sorry but maybe you've never seen a tsx at night or never owned a set of tsx projectors, Talking form experience, I dont just keep showing up on people threads and keep giving them wrong info man. You did one little weak sauce retrofit and you talk like your a king. I did 2 retrofits so far and I know way way way more then you ever will. Tsx and e46 do not compare, e46 is bixenon and tsx is single xenon, as well as tsx is wider and more colorful, tsx>e46.
