My advice would be, use a cookie sheet or some kind of baking plate ( if you use tin foil, you will risk melting the headlight plastic parts). Soak some kind of cloth in cold water, then lay it on the plate. You will then lay the headlights on the towl. But make sure you keep an eye on them just so nothing catches on fire.Originally posted by pt6a12f22a View Post
Make sure you heat up the headlights long enough and it will come right apart easily with little to no force. If not, you will crack either the glass or the back housing trying to pry it open( trust me).
Like the others have said, when you're done put them back in the oven for a little bit before reassembling. This will seal it up nicely so you won't get any leaks.
