You could do an LED like this:
    http://www.superbrightleds.com/specs/74_t15.htm

    or here:

    http://autolumination.com/74.htm

But I beleive that the blueish/green color of our instrument panel and dash components comes from the color of the plastic the light comes through.

ie, amber bulbs may not produce amber light

u will never get that yellow color i dont htink....there is a blue HUE tint in the back of the guages that are built into it...

if u put a clear bulb without the blue rubber condom it turns yellow pee color...

i put a blue blue bulb in everything, and it shines indigo blue..pretty sick and at least NOT GREEN eww.

i orderd from http://autolumination.com many times...always got what i needed...they are cool...and their hyper whites arent that bad either.

oh and u can put hyper xenons from their site in the back of ur dash, but u will get a yellowish color not blue blue
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

Thanks, I bought them. I took care of all those blue filters when i swapped out my maroon dash for a black one. All you have to do is get rid of that blue little condom and the bule plastic peices. Go to a arts and crafts store and make your own amber peices in place of the blue ones.

its not just the blue condoms, the blue condoms make it look green..

the guages itself have a blue coating. you will probably end up with the same color as if u put a clear bulb in there.
