hid troubles

I purchased a hid kit did the install an everything by the book went to test it an nothing look over everything an still nothing....? A friend has the exact same one an works trys my ballast an works put it on mine an nothing did anybody have this problem....oh kit name is O-NEX

Just make sure you didn't reverse the polarity on any of the wiring.

Hmmmmm?? I doubt it on the reason that there is on certain wires that can plug in to a certain one but that's one thing to check....I searched a little an skimmed over someone talking about a relay???

Exactly. Mine came with one backwards.

i wired up my hids and they didnt turn on. turned out one of the sockets was reversed even though i had the live wire and ground wires in line with each other on both sockets.

That is definately a polarity issue. You said it works on your friends car, but not yours. You have to remember the kits are put together by humans, so human error can occur.
