i had a set in my 92 i had (R.I.P) and they were the biggest joke ever! retrofit your stock housings with a set of TSX projector's and get a good 6000K HID kit for them! then you'll be in buisiness!

i had hids with my projectors, they were 8k, i loved the setup, but fell in love with the slick look of the jdm one pieces instead, here is a pic of the projectors on my car

5000k was ok with the ebays...I blackhoused my oems and slapped the hids in them with a custom shield not to blind anyone still dreaming of the retrofit though lol

people always cut up ebay projectors,they say this and that,but i have had both ebay and diy black house,heres the truth.......ebay projectors look good they make the car more modern looking,but the light output is bad,but on the other hand so is diy black house,they look good but,that light output is shit also.

the best light output would be to go with a ebay retro....why ebay over stock?......simple,bacause the stock lights have thick glass,not ever meant for hid.

maximum light output would be achived with ebay and hid kit.....clear and not thick glass,more of a modern look,as well.

just keep your stock lights for the winter,don't want those retro fitted projectors,going to poo-poo,now do you?

I don't know why this "thick glass" thing you speak of matters, do you know how head lights work?

Ebay projectors never were meant for HID's either.
