    Anyone using these projectors/headlights?

For the record' I'm currently running my Audi A4 projectors retrofitted in my stock stanley housings with 6000k HID's, but I'm thinking of going with a prefab projector headlight for the sake of simplicity.

They look like they take 9006 + 9005 bulbs, and they claim 'plug n play', so they should take the stock sized bulbs.. meaning I could replace my D2S HID bulbs with 9006 HID bulbs and be on my way.

Anyone else running this type of headlight have anything to say about the output of the projectors? If so, can someone post some night pictures of them?

    Sorry for the large image.

Thanks for the heads up, his look very sharp! The output looks to be about what I get now, slightly less because I have 6000k HIDs...

Anyone else have some night shots of those lights?

Its worth doing. IMO they look best completly blackhoused, but ya the output would be even better with 6000K rather than 8000K.

man if you done ur research and retroed a4 projectors in your car, then why downgrade to those??? if ur going to get these new ones retro these but IMO they look like crap.

oem retro would be badd ass especially if you put a bmw shroud on it.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

          Retro!

                The first set looks alright.
HID's would probably help A LOT.

F22b's look really good with HIDs.
Seem to have pretty good cutoffs and light output.

yeah i just put that first set in my car, but they look a little bit different from mine. Mine are sorta like my stock 91 headlights, in shape at least, but the clips on my stock ones are those neat plastic things that turn, whereas on my projectors you turn the bulbs in and they're held with screws. I havent got a chance to drive around at night yet, so no saying how the light output is with the projectors but i might upgrade to a hid kit in the projectors for my lowbeams. (definately not for the high beams, unless you enjoy blinding oncoming traffic)

the light output sucks on aftermarket projectors like that, putting hids will just induce more glare not more usable light. just rip out the projector inside and do a PROPER retro.

I have those. I don't know the ballast, bulb etc right now, but I like them. They're better than the 2nd ones posted (no offense). I have a shot of mine, but it's really close to the garage, kinda looks messy. I'll try to post more pics when I get a chance.

On another note; I didn't ask for answers like 'do a proper retro' or 'my buddy has them and they suckzors'... I want to hear from people with real experience, because they're the only ones who can honestly say how these projectors work.
